Default RE: Runway Length and Width Minimums

Post 4 in this thread says 30 x 450 is too short for jets. Another mentions lengthening a runway to 600 feet to accomodate them.
It probably depends a lot on the model.
How slow can it go before falling out of the air?
How good are the brakes?

One veteran member says 'in general, we will land as poorly as the field will allow' and I think he is right.

We fly off of a grass runway that now is about 75 x 650. It was 50 x 400 when I joined the club. Length has never been an issue for prop driven models.
As for width:
at 50 feet, sometimes I missed the runway
at 75 feet, sometimes I miss the runway
