Lamyap would be Steve Criss (if memory serves ) a long-time pattern (and some time jet) fanatic. He and I have sent kits and engines to each other on a few occasions!

The original Summit is my personal favorite. I saw Ivan fly it on several occasions (including the 1985 nats). The Summit II was an excellent design which refined (corrected??) the original design. The next iteration was the Summit 120 which I don't think Ivan flew it for very long as he moved on to the Typhoon 2+2.

I'd love to see Don (aka Frequentflyer) produce a kit of the original Summit, but he'd need a kit or at least a finished version to copy.

The original was powered with a YS 60FR turning an Asano 12x9 prop.
