RE: New from Futaba, who will be the first?
I appreciate that maybe to those that fly regular sized gassers or F3a the concepty of 14,16,18channels is crazy but here's the setup of a model I am working on....
Aileron 1
Aileron 2
Flap 1
Flap 2
Elev 1
Elev 2
Rud
Nose Gear Steering
Retracts
Brakes
Lights
Smoke
Chute Deploy
Chute Drop
That's 14 channels straight away. Other scale models may have more features/surfaces. (2 rudders/4 flaps etc)
If I'm honest, I'm buying the 18MZ because I can and I want to (and that's the basis every modeller in the world has to be working to or why else do you buy what you buy?), it keeps me current in the technology curve having owned the 14MZ for 7 years (I'm sure you guys upgrade phones/PCs/TVs after 7 years for 'the latest') and for added nice features like the 18ch, SBUS2, telemetry, integrated 2.4ghz, superb new/responsive touch screen......
