On SECOND thought. . I think it's about time BME "weaned" itself off "manipulatible" outside sources for parts and such. . perhaps they should just copy the 3W/DA (DA IS using the same design of ignition as 3W. . you DID know that. . right???) ignition system. . which is actually a copy of a 1933 BOAT engines ignition. Seems that after 70 years it's still a hard design to beat.
