Dont get me wrong! I am very happy for people to buy things they want to..
I myself bought my own digital sound mixing desk that costs a LOT more than a turbine model... for live band mixing etc.
THEN I explained to the girlfriend that I will NEVER EVER get enough work to be able to have it paid for.
The thing is that I use almost every function of that desk when doing a live concert or show, and I know what everything does and how to use it best.
Its NOT case of me turning up on site with a "flashy" bit of kit that is unnecessary, cheaper more simple kit "could" do it but it wouldnt sound as good.. I have far more control over every aspect.
I am just against some of the BSing and "wrong" REASONS for owning this kit. Like I said.. members of my club who say you HAVE to have a 14mz or your planes wont fly and your helis will have problems.
