Yup... though I believe that is true everywhere... you just can't always voice opinions safely in certain other countries.

The problem is when someone misrepresents things ( not talking about you ) which leads to the growth of further inflammatory vilification that is unwarranted.

Then there is that wonderfully florid saying about what opinions are like...
