ORIGINAL: Doomking

Hi Don...

Sorry for the delay...been out of town...
Anyway, I have been tinkering with the cockpit for a while.
Didn't want to spend $60 for a couple of cheesy pieces of plastic, so I looked around the workshop and put together a simple cockpit.
This plane is not a scale queen, so this cockpit detail unlike my other ones in the P-51 and P-47 which are really scale like, is a couple of evenings worth of work.
The pilot seems to enjoy his new place already!

Also I have a picture of the front wheel extended. Wheel size is 3 1/2 " .

Canopy will go on tomorrow, and hopefully I will fire up the engine as soon as it worms up a bit here in OH.
