The Hobbytown in my area holds parking lot races from May through Sept. for all classes.   SC trucks are the most popular class, and the mod SCT and 4WD SCT run in the open off road class. Tamiya Minis are one of the most popular cars and classes in the world. I have an M05 and I had a lot of fun racing it at the same parking lot races. They are great. I have had plastic shocks from HPI and Tamiya that don't leak nearly as much as these do. The shocks on the Slash tend to leak a little and the shock caps may be the issue on both the Slash and Rally. I am going to get some alloy shocks. I haven't decided whether I will get the Traxxas or the after market brand found on Ebay and some other sites.
