Don I fly mine currently with a G45. If you still have to buy the engine I would consider the g45 rather than the 38.
Mine flies very scale and you can kick it up a notch if you want with the extra power.
Loops are big and require full throttle on the up line, so I am not sure if the 38 would have enough power to pull it through.
If you already have the 38 than just bolt and fly it. You'll love it either way.
