Fox .74
I'm getting my Fox Eagle .74 with a Davis Diesel conversion head prepared to mount on a Sig FourStar 60. I got the following numbers with these props.
Engine-- Fox .74 ringed and Fox Super Silent muffler.
Carb--SuperTigre .51 carb with Perry to Fox adapter
Fuel--Davis Diesel
MA 14x7 three blade----7,800 rpm
MA 13x8 three blade----8,840 rpm
Graupner 12x8 three blade-- 9,260 rpm
Idle-----1,620 with the 13x8, so quiet it was eerie
The ST carb has the fat spray bar so I could run it full throttle with no fuel spitting back out of the carb and the engine responded even to the last few degrees of opening. No muffler pressure.
