We are putting a Sept. Fury arf together, we want to install a Saito 150. The problem is the carburator, it can't be behind the engine. We are mounting the engine on it's side and the carburator won't clear. If we raise the carb up and let it be above the engine we have clearance. My question, will the carb draw fuel ok. Thanks Bob
To what use will the model be put to?
If its just scale flying straight and level with a few banks here and there, then place the carby above the tank and to hell with the inflight differences.
It will draw OK and doubly so if you pressurise the tank from the exhaust.
If the model is meant for something more then investigate the use of a header tank that is consistent with the carby's placement and fed from by a Saito fuel pump.
Good luck.
