That good that will make it a little lighter but if you wanted to save money I would just stick with the wood dowels. I have over 30+ flights on mine and they work fine. As far as building, since you have all winter I would make sure that the balance is right on. That makes a big difference, and make sure the wing dihedral is what the manual says (5 3/4 -6 1/4), I think i set mine to 6". Other than that bring it in with some speed!
