I just finished building my Phoenix Extra tonight.
Mine balanced right on the 100mm CG (4") from the leading edge like the plans said. Mine is the new version and I was wondering how well this plane fly's at this setting. Has anyone flown the new version with the 100mm cg balance point?
If so how well does it fly? I have the Magnum 108A in mine and I had to move the batteries to the rear of the cockpit area in the fuselage to get it to balance at 100mm from the leading edge. I have not weighed mine yet but I think it is right around 8lbs or less.
