Wait a minute, people crashed at Joe Nall and blamed their radios? No friggin way........
I know some of the people from my neck of the woods that went to Joe Nall and believe it or not, they crash when they're not a Joe Nall and there aren't a bazillion planes in the air. Joe Nall is no Nats. Anyone can and does fly there. That being said, I have seen a lot of issues with Spektrum radios at my field over the past couple years. I think Horizon's strategy is to be first whether it's 2.4 or telemetry or any of the other bells and whistles while Futaba goes for reliability. Futaba employs it's radio systems in industrial applications, running cranes, factory automation. Not exactly situation where a glitch is acceptable.
