Sure, the v-tail mixer could be used to trim the two motors to nul out any residual (drag inducing) rudder angle when not turning. May also be a lower drag solution when making wide turns or small course corrections. (I once, in a past life, conned a cruiser with one shaft locked, used differential RPM's on the other three shafts to aid in steering).
