I acquired plans to build a Giant JetsF16. I scanned the title and specs but have summarized the detailsas well.

The model is 92” length and 60” WS. Estimated dry weight is 38 pounds. The design calls for a .91 OS ducted fan but this sounds like a very heavy plane for a single ducted fan. The wing loading based on the specs looks to be 8.56oz/ft which is pretty low. My intention is to build the plane with a turbine. Does anyone have any opinion on what size turbine to consider for this or if this is a good candidate at all?

Before I spend a lot of hours building this, I thought to ask if anyone here has any experience with Giant Jet Inc. plans to speak to how well their planes turn out or better if anyone has built and/or flown one of theseF16jets. I believe this company is long since dissolved.
