That sucks Andy, sorry to hear. You handled it the right way though, so good for you. As a general contractor, we've dealt with deadbeat individuals and companies, and we've quickly discovered that its not worth going after them. You end up spending a bunch of money and dont recover your losses anyway. Better to move on.
