Tommy has one of these already for racing. I think Steve Nickerson built that one for him bet I could be wrong. I know Tommy brings it as a backup, but I think he only raced once with it. I think the setup was a little slow.
Maybe this is the one? I have been collecting MB-3 info for a long time and supplied the documentation to a couple of California guys a few years back so they could build one for racing. I don't remember the name of the guy who built it any longer but he sent me a few pics of the finished airplane. No idea how competitive it was but it sure looks nice. To be honest I have visions of building this airplane in giant scale more than for warbird racing but I think it has potential for the latter if done properly.
