The advancement in technology is what is responsible for me ever trying a helicopter. Blade cx. I also have gotten into electric rc cars. Now I want a blade mcx2. Please do not judge me but 15 years ago I would of never have owned anything rc related that was electric. Now in the past 7 years I have Helicopters. cars and trucks. I still have nitro airplanes though. but my newest ones are electric. Unfortunately for me, in my opinion, the advancement in technology over 25 yrs is what is responsible for fewer kits and lots of ARFs. As a kit builder my tools and hardware have grown to meet the needs so I can scratch build.

I guess, I could say, the advancement in technology and the demise of kit availability has made my building skills grow, as I have completed more scratch built planes in the last 15 yrs
