I has the honor and pleasure to work with Bob Kress on a project in the early 2000's at my company. I let him know that as a young man I grew up worried during the 60's and early 70's about what may happen one day when we least expected it; and that I worried no more once the F-14 was commissioned after the famous "Six on six" testing. Regan said it best "Peace through Superior Firepower" We had no better weapon at that time then the F-14 with its radar and missile system! Still want to build one. Hear us Yellow Aircraft?
