Yeah, that crash really shook my confidence. I've been flying for almost 4 years, it should not have happened. Almost decided to sell everything and stick to playing rock n roll. I didn't stop flying after the crash. I put my PA addiction up right after the crash. Got it in the air on normal rates. Then flipped the switch to high rates. Then things went wrong again. I was having a hell of time controlling the plane. I didn't understand why, as it is usually a perfect flying plane, even in the wind. As it became a small spec on the horizon, I figured out that I had hit the flapron switch when I hit the dual rate swtich. I flipped it off and got the addiction back over the run way. It was just a very rough day for me. Felt like I had climbed Suribachi and planted a flag at the end of the day!
