Fantastic is the best cleaner I have ever used. It won't damage the covering and easily cleans the exhaust film off. Use paper towel's with a few squirts and it will clean your airplane up nicely.

Make sure you empty your fuel tank and then start the engine to run the last bit of fuel out of the fuel line. Leave the carburetor open to WOT and don't put a paper towel in the carb, or the exhaust. Can potentially cause moisture in the engine and rust if it sets for a while. I always add a few drops of after run oil, but many don't and then others use different oil. Just my choice. Hope this helps.
