I have found that you get what you pay for most of the time. This holds true for almost everything in life, although there are a few exceptions.
A $500 plane will be much better quality than a $300 plane. I will gladly pay the extra money for a better quality plane. It's going to fly better and last longer.
Some guys would rather pay less money and get poor quality. To each his own, but don't expect a better quality product for a cheap price.
You get what you pay for.
