Actually the DLE weight is 36 oz ready to fly with muffler, ignition and all. The OS 120AX is 31oz with muffler leaving the DLE with a weight penalty of 5oz. But wait, the DLE only uses about half the fuel of the glow for equal runtime so less fuel is required on board. 16oz of fuel weighs approx. .85lb or just over 3/4 of a pound. OK here is the kicker, half of 12oz is 6oz so we're already lighter than glow after the fuel is factored in. I only needed to make up 5oz and I have made up close to 6. Also, the DLE will swing a 19X8 with authority and make over 20lbs of thrust doing so. That my friends is incredible thrust to weight ratio on a 120 size bird. The DLE20 will hover a 10lb plane nicely making around 15lbs of thrust. It weighs in at 28.9oz ready to fly for those that need something a bit lighter than the 30 and and runs real sweet. Very fuel stingy too needing less than 8oz of fuel for a 12 min flight. On my DLE30 powered Funtana I use around 6oz to do 10 mins of 3D mixed with some IMAC type flying.
