ORIGINAL: northshoremb I am new to RC and bought my first one the other day a Slash 4x4 Ultimate. It ran at guys house but when I tried it today only Steering worked. ESC shows green light when triger pulled but nothing to motor so checked all wiring and fine. So i took ESC off and removed rear cover and it had that burnt electrical smell. Also the single chipset to the right looks like its burnt as you can see in the picture. The epoxy looks brown around it and I suspect that tthats the problem. Does anyone know if this is warrantied since its suppose to be sealed? Heres a picture
What warranty form was received with the item, there must be a contact address thereon.
"It ran at guys house " - Does this mean it is second hand? if so you need to refer back to the seller
for details of the warranty and original receipt as few, if any, RC items have a transferrable warranty.
