Default RE: First plane, which servos?

This is what I learned and take it for what it's worth. Most if not all manufactures in the RC industry sell; good ,better and best products. Servos are no exception. The industry leaders in our hobby are JR and Futaba. They both sell a full range of servos and provide the necessary data for the modeler to make choices from. If you belong to a club find out what others are using for their applications and purchase the same. If the majority fly on one particular brand of radio that is what you should purchase. By doing so when help is required, that is radio related, it is available from another club member. I noticed that most of the replies came from people using Hitech servos which are nothing but clones of JR and Futaba sold at a lower cost and that's fine by me but the quality and relability are not the same. When I worked in the aerial target industry we purchased nothing but Hitech servos because they were cheap and considered a throw away item.
