The 46LA is just fine for a trainer plane, that's what I had in mine. I bought an Aurora 9 when I got my second plane, kicking myself for wasting money on a 4 channel for my trainer. That said depending on your next plane look at the HS-5495BH servos. I put some in a Revolver with an Optima 6 RX this summer. They are HV so you can run everything off a 2S lipo pack without a voltage regulator. I have a single 2s lipo I use for an RX pack and just drop it in whatever plane i want to fly that day. The next year I buy a new pack for $5 for that season just to be safe.
