This is from memory but if I recall, go to Paramaters menu and AUX CHANNEL and set the channel its hooked up to to the switch you want.

Then make sure the kill switch has power.

You can also use the monitor screen and flip switches till you see what is moving the bar for the channel the opto kill is plugged into.
