Default Sudo crash.. new servos?

Well my sudokhoi finally really went in after 2 1/2 years and over 500 flights. The thing is, I had always figured it would be my 5 Futaba 3003's (44 oz. torque) that would strip and cause a crash after so many grueling flights. Well it so happend that I was climbing to do a deadstick on purpose when and ez link linkage came loose on an aileron and the two elevator halves snapped at about the same time.
There wasn't much I could do while it was coming down.

I am going through all the hassle to put it back together when it might have been better to throw it in the trash can. SO, I don't want to risk another crash by putting in the same old servos.
What servos is everyone using in the 40 size profiles. I figured hitec 85 MG's might not be a bad choice considering they'll save a little weight and have over 50 oz. of torque. What do ya'll think?
