RE: Is there an indestructible jet?
Mike, I am not sure about the Bobcat....it's BVM so the quality is there but IMO BV's stuff is fragile. We have a bandit and it's a good thing my son flys it and not me, I would have torn the gear out of it a long time ago. I have also seen a bandit have a stab depart in a high G turn, it was 160 powered (overall bad decision anyway).
Addison Clark has a Bobcat that he flys the living' crap out of and it appears fine, but again he is a very smooth pilot!
For my money, and in my personal experience, the Comp ARF Flash is about as indestructible as you can get. I have planted my flash on the runway time after time and she just taxis back to the pits ( that was when I first starting flying her, I have the landings nailed now). I routinely make max power passes finishing with a 180 degree turn by pulling full elevator and she just laughs at it. It has been put down twice due to flame outs. The first was zero damage, the second requires some minor repair and paint work. I have a buddy that has had his in three times due to flame outs, no damage besides some paint. All five were gear up.
I have built 4 of them and the dollar to value ratio is off scale high, they fly great (classic flash, the ultra flys better), and they are as tough as an airframe you can get.
