Default AME 061 Needle valve which one?

Just finished an old (1992) 1/2A combat kit.
Lovely arrow shaft / ribs wing, state of the art in ...90 :-)
I'm fitting a new Norvel 061 big mig (prerevlite but not the higher spec AME version) to it. Even have a hoarded new (original style) rubber ducky 5 x 3 on it.
Plane is set up for bladder, Motor isn't.
I have 2 choices of fine needle valves : Texas Timer OR Kitting it.
The TTimer looks to need JBwelding in place the Kitting one needs Venturi redrilling. Presumably, both are good product ?
Hopefully installed with a minimum of long term damages?
ORI could try a remote NV assembly maybe something cobbled to gether from bits from an RCcar shoppe... Still need a fine NVtho.
A remote would at least save the NV when I Dork the thing.. inevitable imo.. as my reflexes have not improved with age.
Thoughts/ advise on this gentlemen ?
