Yea, it wasn't about strength on the laminated leading edge, it was about an alignement tab. Need to come up with a different tech. May work well on a larger model. Cutting grooves/notches in solid stock (leading & trailing edge) for the ribs to slide in is pretty difficult and my table saw blade is wider than the 1/16 inch ribs.
