I am preparing to build Wendell Hostetler's Piper Pawnee. I have ordered his plans, and now am trying to decide on where to purchase a full wood laser cut kit. I see that both National Balsa and Precision Cut Kits both show the pawnee as a kit they can supply. I have done some research on these two suppliers with mixed results. I would appreciate any advice you would be able to give on your experiences with either of them.
I do not plan to use the plane for glider tow, so also would like your thoughts on a power plant. Right now, I am leaning toward a DLE 55 with the G62 with ignition as a second choice. With these power plants, how do you think the CG builds? Servos to the rear or near the CG? Any other comments on this plane would be appreciated. Thanks, Fred123
