RE: Winter tanking is here!
The few times we get snow in Georgia (USA) I try to get my tanks out in the snow. I always had problems with snow clogging up the road wheels and sprockets. Then a tank buddy told me to leave my tanks outside on the porch for a while so the road wheels, treads and sprockets cool down to the outside air temps. It worked and then I was able to run in the snow. Works best when the temps are below 30 degrees. Above that melting and clogging occur.
I'm thinking metal tracks cool down quicker compared to plastic tracks.
