Hi if you put a stronger spring don't go to much stronger or it will cause problems.... also when making the spring stronger you should also take a coil or 2 off the little spring on the side of the gun so it pulls the unit back better ( make the sping stronger with less coils) or the BB's won't load some times if left stock.
Also the VS tiger I airsoft unit is a totally different layout than the A6 and abrams type my tiger I type airsoft never failed me once never had a motor go dead like the other units do i think they use a lower gear ratio in the box on the tiger I and it don't strain the motors as much.
If you use a shorter spring you will have to put a nice spacer behind it to take up the space in the unit.... I think the same size spring but a little stronger will be your best bet .... but like i said before i don't think these units can shoot much harder with these mods ... also what i did is used a reamer and went from the back of the chamber and slightly drilled out the rear of the port that the air flows out and made a nice open rounded edge for the air to flow out smoother...don't go to much or you will go through and mess it up... can also use a drill and slightly make the hole in the nipple a little larger but this may not do anything.
These things are so finicky! I stretched the spring on my KV-2 and lubed the piston/plunger and got much better performance but nothing compares the my desert camo Tiger-I when it comes to airsoft power. I think I'll just look for a slightly stiffer spring then and lube it up well. I don't want to ruin it...yet....
Mike
