Hi Sess, the extension on mine is a home brew job, just long enough so that the rotated engine has the plug cap in the oil cooler scoop. Although in normal running, the motor will not give any issues if everything is balanced, but the problem will be if the model is nosed over hard or similar, since the extra leverage will almost certainly either bend the crank or knock the two halves out of line. The Raiden however shows no signs of wanting to nose over so I'm willing to put up with the risk. Could you extend the scoop slightly? I'm guessing my extension is about 4" but I'll get you a definate measurement if you like? Heres a pic of my Z62 installation and cowl cooling set up.
