yes i added longer arms on the ailerons but they really arent needed... and i used 1.5'' servo arm elev and i can get over 40 deg in any direction, and 1.25 for rudder

i used 5925(old hi speed hitecs) and 5625 on elev and rudder and a 625 on throttle...

for the maiden flight.......with the wings and hatch on i CGd it right on the wing tube.. i got some kite string and made a quick cradle

im happy to help
ok another question. Where did you mount your throttle servo? and did you use a rod or wire for the throttle.
i mounted it behind the tank.... i used 440 all thread rod cut to size and a flex rod tube to eliminate friction.... if you need a pic lemme know, i can do that
sounds good, a pic would be nice. Just finished CA's everything I could reach on the inside of the fuse. Also going to remove the landing gear and CA the landing gear bolt holes. I was told that the landing gear block was just balsa. Getting close. I ended up plumbing the 8 oz tank. It is already for hookup. Need to get the LHS and get a nice white or black spinner.
i had problems with that too... i ended up using 1/8" thick2"x2" aluminum plates epoxied to bare wood, and its held up well.... ill take some pics when i get out of work
