For the people who don't have tablets yet and have been thinking about the Kindle Fire, I have had one since it was released. And we have had a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 since it was released. The Fire is not a full open tablet, and Matthew calls it a "non-Tablet", but even he uses it to read on and run some apps. NETFLIX, hulu plus, are all really cool for when you want to watch a movie or TV program around the house. And if you have Amazon Prime, you get a lot of free stuff.

The Kindle Fire is a dandy little device that you can easily carry around. I will be more than happy to answer questions about it or other Android devices. Combined with Amazon Prime it is a really great deal. On top of everything it comes with the Amazon Appstore and with that they have a free Paid app per day. Everyday they allow you to "purchase" a pre-selected app that normally costs from $.99 on up (I've seen $14.99) that you will have in your library forever.

Yes, this is related to racing. I'm working on race management software that will run on the Kindle Fire because it will make a great little device for handling smaller races like the ones I suggested back in 2010. No battery issues as it runs with the screen on for more than 4 hours. It can easily make it through a full day of racing without the need for an external battery source. Even then, all it need is a cigarette lighter.
