As far as the poll, I voted sometimes.
At the field it depends on which charger I have with me. If I also brought electric powered aircraft to the field then I will have my big fancy charger with me, my small charger that lives in my jet flight box does not have balance capability.
At home I always balance charge.
I still have some good LiPos that are so old, they do not have balance plugs on them.
I cycle all LiPos when new and write the capacity on the pack for future reference.
I cycle all of my LiPos regardless of size or cell count at the beginning of each flying season just to measure the capacity to see if they need replacing or not. I replace them when the capacity drops to 90% of new.
If I have anything that may be a power issue, cycling is the very first test to be sure that the source of power is good.
Sooooooo.......... I guess that I do cycle my LiPos.
My balance charger has a LiPo discharge function that can monitor the voltage of each individual cell and it ends the discharge cycle when the first cell drops under 3.2V
