First hobby grade buggy...pulls to the right?
Hey all...Igot some good info from you guys a month or so ago about ordering my first hobby grade RC car. I ended up going with the 1/8 scale Thunder Tiger EB4 G3. I've taken it out a couple times and have noticed that it pulls to the right a little when accelerating (it pulls under slow steady speed as well as hard acceleration). Now, Inow very little on the terminology of parts on this thing so keep that in mine when giving me replies. The manuals with the car don't have a verygood breakdown of what the parts are. Iwas hoping it would have some kind of exploded view of the thing, but oh well.
Alright, as added info, the first time Itook the car and drove it, the front wheel came off. Looks like the hex nut that holds it on just came off and Icould not find it, so having no other option (I have no hobby shops anywhere even remotely close to me), I went to the hardware store and just grabbed some thinish jam nuts that fit and just replaced them all on the car for symmetry. I will be ordering some replacement hex nuts from the interwebz.
I have not crashed the car, unless you consider the car rolling over from turning too hard as a crash. BTW, is there a way to help prevent this? Maybe making the car lower by adding in in some shock spacers? Again, forgive my ignorance on the subject.
Anyway, give me some ideas on what to try. The thing is pretty cool so far and it's definitely a far cry from the toy RC's Ihad when I was younger. It's running on a 4s lipo and really goes, but I don't like trying to go fast when it wants to arc to the right constantly.
