My roommate recently picked up a Blade mSR and ended up getting me all interested in rc flying again after a year or so of inactivity. I ordered myself a little indoor 3D heli and now I'm considering adding a new fixed wing to my collection...might wait until spring but I'd like to figure out what exactly I want.
Currently I just have my Multiplex Mini Mag trainer and a Typhoon 2 3D, and I'd like to pick up something a bit more balanced and precise. The Typhoon is fun but really doesn't like to hover, and I'd like something that hovers stable enough that I can confidently tap the rudder on the ground if I feel like it
I'm not sure if I should go with a small EP foamie, or something larger...I have no experience with gas powered models but I'm not averse to learning, and I'm totally open to profiles and built up models alike. I'd like something I can get in the air quickly and spend more time flying than working on, if anyone could offer any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
I can dig around through great reviews of all sorts of planes all day, but I get a bit more out of hearing people speak enthusiastically about planes they've flown as opposed to simply reviewing a model.
