That's a 70's 52cc Pioneer chainsaw, or at least started out as one... was removed with the hack saw method.
Aluminum and magnesium are difficult to cut with cutoff wheels as they have a tendency to plug up and stick to the material.
I've found the easiest way to remove mass amounts of material is to get a start with a saw then chip pieces away with pliers or screwdrivers or wrenches.
