Default RE: KingTech K-80

Hi Guys

I`m now a proud owner of a new K-80E and purchased it here in S.A. I decided to use the MTH fuel pump and mounted the engine onto a basic test bench. The ecu is the Xicoy version and nicely housed in an aluminium casing. I used a very old 7,2 V 1800 maH battery pack and the engine started first time. It is very important to blead the fuel system very well, before attempting to start for the first time. The amazing thing was how the ecu was controlling the fuel pump. I run it up to full power and back to idle for about 5 times,so that the ecu could learn the turbine`s behaviour.

Thanks to Morne from MN Models, who assisted me in getting this turbine. I`m really very happy with it.

Regards
Craig
