Last fall I bought a DX8 and it has worked fine for my electric pattern plane. However, last week I programmed it to my 40% gasser and found a disturbing element. When at idle and I put a little pressure on the idle stick, the rpm changed. There seems to be no hard stop on the gimble.
Do I need to send the radio in for repair or is that normal ?

Hope this isn't too far off topic

Thanks
Randy
I talked to one of the Horizon guys at the AMA convention here in Ontario California yesterday and asked him about my radio. His reply was, yes he knew about the gimble and that I should try to tighten the gimble and activate the ratcheting on the throttle. Not the answer I wanted to hear. I guess I'll be going back to Futaba and throwing the DX8 in the trash.
As one of my buddies was holding the 10 I reached over and the throttle stick did the same thing. Just sayin' really look it over before you spend that kind of money.
