They all hate each other, but, when the crap hits the fan, everyone pulls together and takes care of business. WBG
not what I seek for leisure

Your going to be one of those that just posts to biiiich. You completely missed my point and chose to pick out just one sentence to respond too. Oh well, narrow minded people like you dont need to be messing up mine and others day of recreation with your complaining and crying about how no one likes you and you cant get along with any club. Like I said before, go play golf or fish or something, and leave the fun stuff to the ones that enjoy it without listing to baby's crying.

I tried to be nice, but, it didnt work lol You already made me break my New Years resolution [&o]

Right.

Someone points out the charade of the ''helpful club'' hidden under a false veneer of ''acceptance'' and they are b!tching.

Did you read this thread and what ''club members'' post about each others discipline of flying ?

Do you go to the field and see all the the little cliques segregated ?

You posted yourself................ they hate each other.

I have been to three fields looking to join its clearly evident.

Then come on here and see this thread......it is like Authentic Cavalry Living History Hobby all over again.

I certainly think a lot of the attitudes being mentioned exist at various RC clubs. I am in two clubs and one is super fantastic, but it only has 10 members and they rarely fly much. So there is not much to make judgment against. When they do fly they are just laid back and smooth with no big deals and don't let anything get to them. Maturity is an amazing thing!

The other club I belong to has about 65-70 members and at times you can see some issues crop up. There are many opinions and perceptions of the best way to do things. When I first went there I thought to myself that this would be a tough group, however I gave it some time. I have found that most there are great guys and get along well. Some just don't warm up as fast as others and some never warm up.

People are people and our characters don't always line up with others. I am one that is not likely to group hug! [X(] I prefer to fly alone if I can and enjoy flying with a small group more than the larger groups. I have flown with a full roster of people and can handle it. It is just not my favorite. From an earlier post I believe this is really about respect and some don't have much of that.

Another thing to think about is if you find that the clubs are all full of dead ends and lamers then you could certainly look for some folks to form a new club and set the rules as you think would be best. That is what I plan to do if anything happens to the clubs I belong to. If you love 3D flying the most then seek out some fellow 3D flyers that share your interest or sport flying seek out like minded.

Happy flying [8D]
