Default RE: Modeler or ARfer?

RC is one of the few industries in the world in which you have to build something before you can use it. Imagine buying a refrigerator at Best Buy and having to spend 200 hours building it before installing it in your kitchen. One of these days, you'll be able to shop a Web site for an RTF jet, and you'll be able to check off the equipment you want installed. The first company to do this (and figure out how to do it profitably) will make hay.

And you know what? There's not a single thing wrong with that! If you're a modeler and enjoy building from scratch, more power to you. If you enjoy flying more than building and would prefer to spend the limited time you have at the field rather than in the workshop, hats off to you, too.
