Sourkraut - The Rascal 40 ARF is in the works. In fact I am working on it today. However, delivery is still a ways away - probably around May.
Zippi - Re: the pre-glued hinges ... you've got me pulling my hair out over this one! I thought we were making a huge improvement by gluing in the hinges! I know personally that gluing hinges is at the top of my ''hate to do'' list. I understand what you are saying about wanting more throw for your 3D flying, but honestly, when we bring 500 Rascal 110s into the country, how many do you think are being flown 3D? I'd guess maybe one or two. Certainly less than a handful. I'll bet that the other 498 owners are glad the hinges are already glued in. Sorry 'bout that, but that's the facts of life. Would it really take any more effort to cut off the pre-glued hinges and reinstall new ones, than it would of to glue in all the hinges in the first place. By the way, I LOVE the videos I've seen on youtube of the 3D Rascal. Is that yours?
If I could only have one R/C airplane, this would be a Rascal 110. Mine won't 3D - it's only got a Gemini 160 Twin for power - but I love it! Especially on floats. I'm looking forward to the new tricks all you great pilots out there will dream up using the flaps. Should be a fun summer!

Mike,
The hinge issue is a personal thing for everyone I guess. I'm sure most builders love the fact that it's less work. Changing to the Robart style hinges was a very good idea. My last Rascal had the throws maxed out and it would break the CA hings. I replaced them all with Robarts. Not sure which video you are refering to. There are a few out there. The Rascal 110 is a very nice plane to fly and looks great as it crabs in for a low slow pass or a nice slow KE pass. My last Rascal had a G26 on the business end and didn't have the power to hold it in a hover very long. Hopefully my new Rascal with the Syssa 30cc will do the job.
