Default Why is fuel so expensive?

Guys... have you ever thought about the amout of fuel we burn? It's not much. The most I have ever burned was two gallons in a month. That's $40 in fuel where I get it. Now take an airplane into consideration. Sure their fuel only costs $15 a gallon, but in a 15 minute flight the larger planes can burn 16 oz. of fuel, or more. Now you're down to eight flights per gallon. A long day at the field and your gallon is gone. Now it's a gallon a week for that one plane, and not many people have just one plane.

Another look at it...

Just check out electrics. They go through brushes like candy. A new pair ever dozen runs at 5 bucks a pop, plus a cut of the comm. Hey, a new battery a month to keep in tip top shape, $70.

We've got it good gents.
