Actually, part of the reason is the HAZMAT fee imposed by the government.
The other part is that it is not a naturally occuring fuel like gasoline, and production costs more.
There is no government "haz mat" or any other fee on hobby fuel, the shippers charge a couple of bucks extra becuse they dont like to ship fuel becuase it takes a little extra care. Gasoline is certianly NOT naturally occuring anywhere on this planet.
