Default Turnigy Chip/SLU

Ok so I am sitting here contemplating life, and I thought hmm, I wonder if the Turnigy Chip used on the Tamiya's to create inertia effect, could be used with the SLU? I have neither of these or I would give it a shot. But was wondering since this goes between the throttle of the DMD and receiver , wouldn't the same principal apply? From what I have read it works by slowing the commands received by the transmitter or in other words a signal delay. So in theory this should work I think. But then again I am not an electrical major, and I have been wrong on occasion

Cheers,
Wade
